I remain amused that our microwave has power settings 1-7. Nothing higher. It's like they watched Spinal Tap but misremembered 11 as 7. "But this one goes to seven!"
@EricBono@ZenHeathen Costco in Lethbridge does have the advert-on-ui-screens here, fairly new. No sound though! If there were sound... something membership voiding might happen...
@ZenHeathen Probably are, my go-to are the vintage things because that's what we were looking at when renovating mid century modern. There's definitely pendant and a few swag lamps to be seen in lighting stores but whether those are Canadian products or even in Canadian owned stores I dunno.
@paninid Used to procrastinate most of my homework until I was getting up at 4am the day it was due, sat on my bedroom floor and powered through it until time to head to class. Never thought I had ADHD or anything until maybe after I retired and saw it talked about here on fedi.
