#thingsididforbc 1) Created a number of news bots that search for BC news stories and post them here on the Fedi. (Including one specifically for posting #BCPoli related content, during the election run up.)
2) Created a Peertube channel that reposted the BC Green Party’s pre-election campaign videos to the Fedi for folks that can’t or won’t use the corporate platforms.
3) Voted. (In both the provincial & municipal elections)
@phasorburn (Although I think it might not be working right now. I suspect my IP may have been rate-limited by YouTube again because it keeps asking me to sign in on order to watch stuff—which I won’t do.
I’m going to cycle my IP address tomorrow AM when the family is sleeping in order to test my theory)
@fname@phasorburn I would say it’s worth it unless it’s too costly for you. I haven’t talked to anyone in the party yet but I’m planning on pitching them to come back to Fedi instead of just relying on Bridgy
