For those who are curious, I found the info on basic quicktime video embedding after a bit of googling. I’ll repeat the key bits here as well.

Where mymovie-poster.mpg is a one-frame video that you cut from the main movie using iMovie or QuickTime Pro or similar. More info on QuickTime embed at Apple’s site.
