BMW DINKS
Friday, July 23rd, 2010It is official, we are indeed DINKs (Dual Income, No Kids)
Finally giving up the 1996 neon and joining the snooty car owners club, complete with annoyingly bright HID headlamps.
It’s a Certified PreOwned 2007 BMW 525xi from BMWAutoGallery.ca
We’re calling it “Big Blue” because Lori has a brain-hiccup and keeps calling it “The IBM” LOL.
Of course, schadenfreude was involved on the very first day. First tire I’ve had to change in maybe 25+ years.
The dealer was kind enough to replace the tire for us at no charge since we’d had the car for less than 24 hours and we asked nice. Also, I am sure they still made decent bank on the car, and so had room to spare on their profit.
Even though some things might cost more to replace than on the old car, it is a very nice ride.
We’re trying to decide where to go for a road trip this weekend
