Next to telemarketing phone calls in the supper hour, I really despise being bugged for telephone surveys by supposedly non commercial interests.

Tonight it was someone or other from Compass something calling to ask about “Global Warming and Climate Change”

My response, before they even had the whole initial scripted sentence out of their mouth was

“You do realize you’re calling Alberta? Official policy out here is that Global Warming Doesn’t Exist. Thanks for calling. *click*”

Now, whether that’s my actual belief or not is open for discussion. The teledrone is lucky I didn’t play along with the whole survey and skew their results in unexpected ways. I am too tired of the random calls to bother with that approach most of the time anymore.
