I think this was ahead of it’s time. This must be where the current batch of bad reality tv gets its ideas from (Top Model, etc)
I was thinking the other day. I know, I’ll have to stop that.
Anyways, we have cell phones with cameras, and some with datebooks etc in them too. Now the iPhone with iPod and oh it happens to be a phone and wifi enabled browsing device.
How much longer until we have a phone/camera/pda/music player/toothbrush?
And will it be programmed to take pictures of the inside of your mouth, measure how long you brushed each tooth, and send reports to your dentist’s computer so that they know when to call you in for an early checkup or to scold you in general?
hmmm. Does sound a bit unfair put into this context, doesn’t it? Of course the video was produced by those same writers and is therefore slanted, but still . . .

You can find some amazingly good photos on flickr, and most times you don’t even need to stray away from the various local photo pools such as Calgary, Alberta, Amazing Alberta, and so forth.
Good stuff.
I draw inspiration from this and hope to capture something as good the next time I go out to do landscapes. Hopefully just being informed by this shot and not out to copy it consciously or unconsciously.
