Where mymovie-poster.mpg is a one-frame video that you cut from the main movie using iMovie or QuickTime Pro or similar. More info on QuickTime embed at Apple’s site.

Then again, I haven’t actually watched Much or MTV in aeons myself…

OK, seems that they are explicitly poking fun at the manufactured girl pop star, check the lyrics and this description from an advert for a live performance I found after a bit of googling. From April of 2003. Gee, I feel soo johnny-come-lately.

All Hell breaks loose when an evil entertainment conglomerate performs an experiment to transform an innocent talent contestant into the perfect teen pop queen. When the experiment goes awry, “Miz Kitty, Singing Teenage Dominatrix” is born. Upset by her new incarnation as feline cyber sexpot, Miz Kitty takes revenge on her capitalist creators by seizing their company, and transforming it into her own deviant media empire: Kittyporn Enterprises.
